Homestead Valley Pool Policies (Effective June 24, 2020)

  1. Pool reservations are available only to Homestead Valley Residents. Residents will be limited to a maximum of three reservations a week to allow everyone an opportunity to swim.  All reservations must have at least one adult (18+) attached to the reservation. For Family/Open Swim, all adults visiting the pool must sign the waiver for their family.  No walk-ups can be accommodated at this time.
  2. Please arrive no earlier than 10 minutes prior to your reservation. One of our staff will be checking in pool users. Only those with a reservation will be able to enter the pool area.
  3. All pool users must practice social distancing and stay 6 feet apart from staff and others.
  4. Lap swimmers will be limited to one person per lane.
  5. Pool users will be responsible for bringing their own water bottles and towels. No food is allowed in the pool area. There will be no access to the showers or changing rooms.
  6. Cleaning materials will be available to wipe high-touch areas and staff will be disinfecting high touch areas each hour between groups. This includes railings and bathroom fixtures. Pool users will also be encouraged to clean any surface before touching it.
  7. At this time the HVCA will not be supplying any pool equipment (chairs, kick-boards, goggles noodles, etc.). There will be no “lost ‘n found” available.
  8. County guidelines do not allow for lounging or otherwise using outdoor pool areas except for swimming. Please do not bring family members or others not included in the reservation.  At the end of your reservation time, you will need to depart the pool area in order to accommodate the next group.
  9. Reservations are to be paid in advance and there will be no refunds. HVCA will collect your credit card information (and store it securely) at your first visit to be used on subsequent visits.
