Homestead Wildflower Hikes

Check events on the HVLT website for details. Contact events@hvlt.org with questions.

Join local botany expert, Marabeth Grahame, for a look at some of what is blooming now in Homestead. Conservation in Homestead Valley protects a great variety of plant biodiversity. Starting at trailheads around the valley, we will spend an hour or two navigating narrow trails and viewing flowers.

  • Due to narrow trails and sensitive habitat, walks are restricted to the first 10 people.

  • Well-mannered dogs ok.

  • Trails are narrow and uneven and can be muddy. Poles and boots recommended.

  • All participants are self-responsible and join at their own risk.
